Nursery Love
I have been planning this little girls nursery for awhile now and I think things are finally starting to come together. Topsail Blue walls from Sherwin Williams, really light aqua, with coral and pink accents and white twinkly lights and a white crib. I am so excited! Here are a few things that I have been collecting and making for her. Also, I have a pin board started that I am over the moon for. I can not wait to get settled in San Diego to start decorating and nesting!

Dinner with friends.
We had some friends over for dinner recently and I decided to make the dining room table feel prettier than usual, so I pulled out my treasured blue Ball jar, added some daisies... decided to pull out the beautiful glasses that my mom sent me last year and fill them with little votive candles. When our friends arrived, they brought the most beautiful white and purple mixed arrangement that quickly replaced my sad daisies. I was happy that everything turned out pretty. It made the house feel so much more cozy.

Coffee and Pecan Sandies.
Although the sun is not shining nearly as bright as I would like it to be, it is still a beautiful morning. I am enjoying a cup of coffee, leftover from my husband's pot, and some pecan sandies from Milton Bakery. I know, I know... not the best breakfast. I already had cereal. We will call this a mid-morning snack. Being military, we move a lot and one of my favorite things to do every time we move is to find local coffee shops, bakeries, and restaurants that I can frequent and make the place feel like home. Pensacola and Milton, have proven themselves to have plenty of cute places. It took a little digging, but I have my favorites. Milton Bakery is one of them. They have the very best blueberry cake and cream filled donuts. I am pretty sure they are sinful, especially when you eat two in one day!
