Projects

There are so many projects that I have on my mind right now. I can't help but get a little giddy when I think of them.

First, I have two quilts planned.  One with Joel Dewberry's Modern Meadow fabric. I have a bunch of fat quarters of it and I think it will brighten up my living room. I think the aqua and navy may be the way I am heading in accent colors.

I splurged with my Joann's coupon and bought some beautiful 50% linen/ 50% cotton and several varying blue colors to go along with the blue I already had. I want to be more creative with this one and I am thrilled to see where it goes.  

I am also dying for some new Summer skirts. It's getting so hot here and I love a flowy skirt to wear.  There are so many tutorials online. I think I may take some of that linen and do a fun little skirt.  We'll see!

And then... Travis is going to be winging soon and I want it to feel like such a celebration. I am planning on making him a winging banner to hang on the outside of the house as well as some USMC colored bunting to go inside. I figure I can keep it and use it for future celebrations as well. I am so proud of him and want it all to be just right.  It's going to be a fantastic week!
