Last week, I took my first full dip in the ocean this Spring. Our move to Corpus Christi and our visits to their beaches make me appreciate the Pensacola beaches so much more. The sand and water are so beautiful and I love being able to take long walks on the beach... how cliche! but seriously... My friend, Lauren, and I went for a walk last week, which probably ended up being two miles. It was exhausting towards the end, but it felt so good to lay down on the blanket and nap for a little bit afterwards.
I remember when I first saw the real ocean... the Atlantic in Delaware and how amazed I was by it all... the waves, the smell, the sounds, the sea foam. I loved it all and it really reminded me of how big God is and how amazing His creation is. I hope I never lose the awe and wonder of it!
PS. Use sunblock on all sides of you. My backside paid dearly for my time at the beach!
